Here is Ryan enjoying some playdoh! The pictures were taken April 2nd. On April 7th, Ryan turned 18 months old! He is getting so big!! His latest thing is using a fork - he wants to use it for EVERYTHING including toast! SOOOO much has changed since I last wrote here - he is starting to talk more now - saying about 15 words and signing about 25! If you ask what color something is he'll always answer "purple", but he's starting to learn blue and red now! He has been more interested in saying two syllable words - not simple things like "cat" :-) He also has 3 new molars in addition to his 8 other teeth (the 4 front ones on top and bottom). I will write more soon and will post more pictures and some video!

Ryan is 10 months old and is cruising and crawling all over the place!! He also has TWO teeth now - the two middle ones on the bottom. Today we went to get some professional pictures taken - check them out here if you'd like! Here are links to the July and August albums!

In July, he went to his first movie at the drive-in theater on his 9 month birthday. There are also some pictures of his first tooth on the day it first came through, and some pics of him at the park playing on the swings and the slide.

We need to add new videos - he is changing so much!! Hopefully we'll get to that soon. We also need to update his baby book page with all of his new milestones!

Ryan is 8 months old, and he's doing new things all the time now. We are enjoying every moment of watching him grow! He is so precious and I feel like I love him more every day if that is even possible! He is such a happy boy! He has started "crawling" - it is kind of like an army or inch worm type of crawl so far. Check the video page if you'd like to see!! He is doing well with his eating - we have gotten through all of the stage 1 foods, most of stage 2 fruits and veggies, the infant cereals, and he started eating plain yogurt yesterday. We have also been giving him tiny pieces of banana as well as thicker mashed banana. That didn't go over well at first, but he's enjoying it now. So far there are no foods that he doesn't like. He held out on the peas for a while, but now he likes them as much as anything else. Check for new pictures in the June album - we'll be adding more soon!

We haven't updated this in so long - we've been busy! Ryan is getting so big and changing so much! Check out the photos section - there is a new April album as well as the studio pictures we had done at 6 months and the Easter pictures if you haven't seen them yet. Ryan started cereal about a week before his 6 month birthday - and he has now had rice cereal, oatmeal, barley (his favorite cereal), pears, carrots, and applesauce. I still need to post some of those pics - and maybe even a video. He is such a good eater, but you should have seen the faces he made over pears - apparently they tasted very sour to him! He is rolling both ways quite a bit now, and he gets pretty far. He is starting to go onto his knees a bit so maybe crawling isn't too far away. At his 6 month dr. appt he was 15lb. 15oz. and 26 inches tall. I know I am forgetting things . . . I will write more soon!

On Sunday, 3/25, Ryan went to see the Easter Bunny - you can see the picture in the March album! On Monday, 2/26, Ryan started swimming lessons! We will be going every Monday for the next 10 weeks. He really enjoyed it! It was funny because he kept looking up at the lifeguard and smiling as we'd go past, I think he was wondering what he was doing up there.

Other new things this week . . . He has really discovered his feet. He was sitting and bent over to put his face down near the floor to put his mouth on his foot - instead of bringing his foot to his mouth. He has started putting his pacifier in his mouth himself and can turn it the right away. He'll stare at it in his hands and will really focus on it. He also sticks his tongue out a lot when he smiles or laughs now.

We just added a bunch of pics to the new
March album . . . Ryan was the "baby in the spotlight" at school this week. We brought in pictures and filled out some information for a bulletin board - it was so cute! They did a great job of putting it together - check out the pictures of it!

Grammie (Wanda) and PopPop (Tim) came to visit today an Ryan was pretty wide awake for most of the time and rolled over twice!! Mommy and Daddy missed it, so we don't know how much Grammie and PopPop helped :-)

This new site is in progress - things will be added over the next week or so. The video page and baby book are new - so check those out! Nana (Sue) visited today, and Ryan rolled over for her after MUCH effort. Actually, the effort was exerted mostly by Mommy and Daddy - Ryan was just hanging out and relaxing while they entertained him and begged him to roll over for Nana. Ryan is just so content on his side, that he doesn't have much motivation to go onto his back. When he gets onto his side, he usually has his arm in his face, and he happily sucks on that and enjoys his new position.
